Thonglor Pet Hospital
Thonglor Pet Hospital Sirindhorn–Pinklao provides coordinated veterinary care for pets with routine, emergency and complex medical conditions. Referral cases from other veterinary clinics and animal hospitals are accepted, particularly when additional diagnostics, specialist treatment, surgery, inpatient care or rehabilitation are required.
Specialist schedules and selected procedures may vary each day. Please contact the hospital in advance to confirm availability and arrange an appointment.
The Sirindhorn–Pinklao branch accepts referral patients requiring further diagnostic investigation, surgery, hospitalisation or multidisciplinary veterinary care.
Owners and referring veterinarians are encouraged to provide the patient’s medical history, laboratory results, previous diagnostic images and current medication list whenever available. This information helps the hospital team review the case and coordinate the next stage of care.
RON Care coordinates treatment between the Brain and Spine Center, Bone and Joint Center, Surgery Center, and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center.
This coordinated approach allows patients to receive diagnostic assessment, medical treatment, surgery and physical rehabilitation through a continuous care plan.
Assessment may be recommended for pets experiencing:
• Seizures or sudden behavioural changes
• Loss of balance or abnormal walking
• Head tilt
• Limb weakness or dragging
• Inability to stand
• Severe neck or back pain
• Suspected intervertebral disc disease
• Bone fractures or joint dislocation
• Cranial cruciate ligament injury
• Hip and joint disorders
• Reduced mobility following injury or surgery
The Brain and Spine Center provides diagnostic assessment and treatment for conditions affecting the brain, nervous system, spinal cord, nerves and muscles.
The examination may include a neurological assessment, blood testing and diagnostic imaging selected according to the patient’s symptoms.
Some patients may be managed with medication and controlled rest, while others may require surgery, inpatient monitoring or physical rehabilitation.
The Bone and Joint Center provides diagnosis and treatment for disorders affecting bones, joints, muscles and movement.
Conditions treated may include bone fractures, joint dislocation, hip disorders, osteoarthritis, developmental bone conditions, cranial cruciate ligament injury and abnormal walking.
Treatment may involve medication, weight management, rehabilitation or surgery. For cranial cruciate ligament injuries, the veterinary team will assess whether TPLO surgery or another treatment option is appropriate for the individual patient.
The Surgery Center provides general and specialist surgical care, including selected neurological, spinal and orthopaedic procedures.
Before surgery, the veterinary team evaluates the patient’s overall health, diagnostic results and anaesthetic risk. Monitoring is provided throughout the procedure, followed by an individual post-operative and rehabilitation plan where required.
The Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center supports pets recovering from neurological conditions, spinal disorders, orthopaedic injuries and surgery.
Rehabilitation may also be recommended for pets with weakness, paralysis, osteoarthritis, muscle loss or reduced mobility.
Each rehabilitation programme is designed according to the patient’s condition, physical ability and stage of recovery.
The Heart Center provides assessment and ongoing care for pets with suspected or diagnosed heart and circulatory conditions.
Veterinary assessment is recommended for pets experiencing coughing, rapid breathing, difficulty breathing, reduced exercise tolerance, fainting or an abnormal heart sound.
Diagnostic testing may include:
• Electrocardiography or EKG
• Echocardiography
• Digital X-ray
• Other examinations selected according to the patient’s condition
The Dermatology and Allergy Center provides care for conditions affecting the skin, coat and ears, as well as food and environmental allergies.
Assessment may be recommended for pets with chronic itching, red skin, hair loss, recurring skin infections, ear disease, unusual skin odour or repeated allergic symptoms.
The veterinary team reviews the patient’s medical history, clinical signs and possible triggers to develop an appropriate diagnostic, treatment and follow-up plan.
