Spinal Degeneration The Hidden Path to Paralysis

Bone and joint issues can significantly diminish the quality of life for our furry family members. Meet 'Cha-Jean,' a 14-year-old Thai cat who was brought to us with persistent leg pain. Diagnostic tests revealed Spinal Degeneration, leading to a serious case of Spinal Nerve Compression.

This condition causes intense pain, discomfort, and leg weakness. If left untreated, the severity progresses and can ultimately lead to total paralysis of all four limbs—a condition frequently seen in senior cats. In Cha-Jean’s case, our veterinary team initiated a tailored medication plan. We are happy to report that Cha-Jean is showing steady improvement. Let’s all send some love and encouragement for Cha-Jean’s continued recovery!
