Saving Kyoko’s Leg A Miraculous Recovery from a Critical Injury

Kyoko,' a resilient stray cat, was brought to Thonglor Pet Hospital (Ramintra Branch) after being found by our staff with severe injuries, suspected to be from a monitor lizard bite. Initially, the condition of her leg was critical, with a very high risk of tissue necrosis and potential amputation.

Dr. Wasakorn immediately took charge of her care, performing a bacterial culture to identify the best course of action. Kyoko received intensive treatment, including targeted antibiotics, open wound management, and a life-saving blood transfusion.

Within just five days, the results were incredible! Her wound healed significantly, and she no longer required an amputation. Today, Kyoko is back to her playful, energetic self. We are so happy to have saved her leg and her life!
