"Look-Pong" the Bubble Eye Goldfish

The owner brought Look-Pong to see the veterinarian after noticing that his signature "bubbles" were bulging unusually behind his gills. This condition made it impossible for him to swallow food. Historically, Look-Pong often exhibited "biting and sucking" behavior on his own cheek sacs, which eventually caused the delicate sacs to become trapped behind the operculum (gill cover).

The veterinarian carefully manually repositioned the fluid-filled sacs back to their original location. After the successful procedure, medication was prescribed to ensure a smooth recovery.
