A Miracle in Motion: Rooney’s Journey from Paralysis to Walking Again

Miracles really do happen when we don't give up! Hello friends, my name is 'Rooney.' I never thought I’d see the day I could walk again. After being diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor in my neck, I became paralyzed in all four limbs. Even after surgery, my recovery was tough due to my weight and the long time I spent bedridden.

But then, Dr. Pornpansa (Dr. Pook) gave me a second chance at Thonglor Pet Hospital (Rangsit Branch). Her mission was clear: get me back on my paws! It started with intensive physical therapy. In the beginning, the nursing team had to work extra hard to help me stand and move, all while managing my weight (which was no easy task!).

Once I gained enough strength to stand, I moved on to the Underwater Treadmill and Swimming sessions. Today, I’m walking almost normally again! I want to say a huge thank you to Dr. Pook and the entire nursing team for their incredible care and for never giving up on me.
