Meet our adorable patient, ’Snow,’ who recently visited us for the treatment of Cherry Eye. While it might look concerning, Cherry Eye is a common condition where the tear gland located in the inner corner of the third eyelid slips out of its normal position (prolapses). This results in a red, fleshy mass that resembles a small cherry appearing in the corner of the eye. The good news is that with professional care, this condition can be corrected effectively, restoring your cat’s comfort and clear vision. Early detection and treatment are key to preventing secondary irritation and ensuring your pet’s eyes stay healthy and bright.
