ใกล้ปีใหม่ & คริสต์มาสแล้ว บ้านไหนชอบแต่งบ้านติดไฟระยิบระยับต้องระวังเป็นพิเศษ เคสเตือนภัยน้อง "เดียร์น่า" มาด้วยอาการซึม และผู้ปกครองสงสัยว่าน้องอาจจะกิน "สายไฟ" เข้าไป

คุณหมอเลยพาน้องเดียร์น่าเข้าห้อง X-ray ด่วนๆ ภาพออกมาพบสิ่งแปลกปลอมเป็นเส้นยาวๆ ขดตัวเป็นวงลักษณะเหมือน "สายไฟ" อยู่ในกระเพาะ และลำไส้ คุณหมอเลยให้น้อง Admit ดูการพร้อมให้ยาช่วยกระตุ้นการอาเจียน และไม่นานเกินรอ น้องเดียร์น่าก็อ้วกออกมาเป็น "สายไฟ" จริงๆ ด้วย

’Tis the season! With New Year’s and Christmas approaching, if you love dazzling your home with twinkling lights, you need to be extra careful! This is a cautionary tale of "Dearna" the dog, who came in feeling gloomy and lethargic. Her owners suspected she might have snacked on a "wire"

The vet rushed Dearna into the X-ray room! And the picture was clear! A long, coiled foreign object, looking exactly like a "power cord" or "string light", was chilling in her stomach and intestines! The vet decided to Admit her for observation and gave her medication to induce vomiting. And just as expected, not long after... Dearna literally vomited out a real string of wire.

A Quick Caution: Homes decorated with twinkling lights, small ornaments, and filled with curious dogs and cats are a recipe for danger! If you notice your pet starting to look depressed, repeatedly trying to vomit but nothing comes up, or acting strangely, suspect that they might have eaten something unusual! Rush them to the vet for a check-up immediately.
