เคสของ "น้องอเมริกาโน่" น้องโดนกัดบริเวณลำตัว ทีมคุณหมอต้องตรวจแบบละเอียดด้วยการ X-ray และ Ultrasound เพื่อดูให้แน่ใจว่ากระดูกไม่หัก (อย่างเคสน้องอเมริกาโน่ที่กระดูกเชิงกรานหัก และกระดูกสันหลังเคลื่อน ทำให้น้องไม่สามารถเคลื่อนไหวได้ปกติ) และอวัยวะภายในอย่างปอด ตับ หรือลำไส้ไม่ได้รับบาดเจ็บ

การรักษา

• ทำความสะอาดบาดแผลภายนอก พันเฝือก ให้น้ำเกลือเพื่อปรับสมดุลร่างกาย และให้ยา/อาหารที่จำเป็น
• ทีมหมอหมอกระดูกและข้อ: ดูแลโครงสร้างกระดูกที่เสียหาย
• ทีมหมอระบบประสาท และกระดูกสันหลัง: ตรวจเช็กความเสียหายของเส้นประสาท
• ทีมหมอกายภาพบำบัดและเวชศาสตร์ฟื้นฟู: ช่วยฟื้นฟูด้วยเทคนิคต่าง ๆ เช่น การใช้เลเซอร์ลดปวด และฟื้นฟูแผล, การฝังเข็มกระตุ้นระบบประสาท, และการทำกายภาพช่วยให้กล้ามเนื้อกลับมาทำงานได้ปกติ

The most important thing is to stay calm and rush your pet to the vet as quickly as possible. The external wound you see might just be the starting point, but the internal damage is what’s truly concerning.

What will the vet do when your pet is bitten?

In the case of "Americano," who was bitten on the side of the body, the veterinary team had to perform a detailed examination using X-ray and Ultrasound to ensure bones weren’t fractured (as in Americano’s case, where the pelvis was broken and the spine shifted, preventing normal movement) and that internal organs like the lungs, liver, or intestines were unharmed.

Treatment

• Cleaning external wounds, applying casts, administering IV fluids to restore body balance, and providing necessary medication/food.
• Orthopedic Team: Manages damaged bone structure.
• Neurology and Spinal Team: Checks for nerve damage.
• Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Team: Assists recovery using techniques such as laser therapy to reduce pain and heal wounds, acupuncture to stimulate the nervous system, and physical therapy to help muscles regain normal function.
